Bob Williams of Sifter Parts is  a local businessman dedicated to

sending care packages to troops delpoyed in the Middle East. His

business warehouse is filled with Starbucks coffee, various snack

foods, and other comforts from home. All these things are packed

up  and sent to approximately 150 troops EVERY week.  Since he is

not a 501C3 organization,  he relies on the pure generosity of

others to help with postage. However, he often foots the entire

bill himself. Let's help him - and our troops.

ADOPT A BOX-  COVER THE POSTAGE AND
P UT A PERSONAL MESSAGE ON THE BOX.
THE COST OF POSTAGE IS MARKED
ON THE BOX- USUALLY  ABOUT $50.

Wow! Was I surprised when Congressman Bilirakis called me on-stage to thank me for the work my mom and I do for the troops and for Josh's Song. He was in the audience with Senator Victor Crist and Attorney General Bill McCollum in September when I got a standing ovation at the Reagan Day Dinner. And the Congressman was in the audience at the Fisher House fundraiser too. I gave the Congressional coin he presented to me to my brother Josh. After all he is the one who earned it. I only sing the song.

Ashley with new friends Autumn and Aspen Cooper. Autumn and Aspen came by to help Bob Williams. Their parents are retired military so they appreciate what Bob does for the troops. Autumn and Aspen realized after Ashley set up that they saw her at the State Fair. What a small world!

A pretty smile and a big wave. Maybe more people will stop in now to help fund the cost of packages to deployed troops.

So, there was no stage, but Ash sure got a lot of attention from everyone driving by.

What can we say?  Mr. Williams needs your help to keep sending care packages to deployed troops. Won't you stop by and give him a hand?

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

I send out 250 boxes (40 lbs) each week to our troops

deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, and

Kyrgyzstan. In addition we are planning a big tractor

trailer full of "goodie bags" at the end of October so

that all the troops will get something for Christmas.

We would love to have your help in this endeavor. I

will attach a list of typically requested items, but

basically anything you would have in a pantry that is

not contained in glass and is edible, these folks would

love. The nearest 7-11 for them is 16,000 miles away.

Any batteries, playing cards, DVD's and CD's are

always welcome as well as notes from people and

drawings from children. Adult email addresses,

toiletries in separate plastic bags. We like to either

get items in bulk or in 1 gallon plastic bags so the troops

know who sent them, and who knows how much

it means to them to receive it. I will also attach a picture

of what the plastic bags look like.
